SUNDAYS REVELATION: ‘GET YOUR MIND RIGHT

It’s the ending of the summer and for me, that means that my life is starting to kick back into high gear. (Not that my summer was really a break lol) This school year is different from my past because of several reasons, I’m a senior, on two Executive boards in Organizations, and have two jobs that require more of my time than last year. As I thought about this last night I began to feel overwhelmed and the semester hasn’t even started, but then I came to the revelation that I had to ‘Get My Mind Right’ in order for me to succeed in these different aspects of my life.

As I now have more responsibility an insecurity that ‘I can’t’ came into play, me believing that I’mnot capable of doing certain jobs asked of me or that people I will be working with doubt / won’taccept me for what I can do. I realized that living in an insecure mind and clouding your mind with negative thoughts all the time will be the reason why you won’t succeed in anything you attempt. I’m a big woman of faith, I find my comfort in praying about a situation seeking guidance from God who is the head of my life for forever and always. Knowing that God wouldn’t give me anything I can’t handle, and that the devil will try to play with your mind when he knows you’re on the brink of your biggest blessings lead me to the confirming that it’s not that I cant do what will be expected of me in this upcoming school year but I’m going to be so great at it which is why the doubt seems to exists. If your going through this stage in life as well know that you CAN and WILL succeed in whatever you’re attempting to do in life , just ‘Get Your Mind Right’ first , release all of the negative energy and replace it with positive thoughts , actions and continue to walk in your respected faith because I know I can say if My GOD is with me nothing can be against me. –Rihh
